I took a day off today. At first, I was going to see a movie. Women can see movies for 1,000 yen every Tuesday! But I had a terrible headache in the morning. So I gave it up.
After spending time at home lazily, I went to a restaurant to have lunch. The restaurant was famous for its rice omelet. I don't eat egg lately, but I wanted to have it.
The rice omelet was delicious, but they were impolite to customers a little. They forgot to bring me a glass of water at first. And they even forgot to bring me chopsticks and a knife and fork. The restaurant was so crowded that they must have been very busy. But I don't want to go there again.
I'm interested in herb tea lately. I have a cup of milk tea every morning. But I heard caffeine in tea isn't good for health. So I'd like to try avoiding drinks which contain caffeine for a while.
I think some kinds of herb tea are delicious, but some aren't. I'd like to know which kind of herb tea most people recommend.
I started having "Natural Hygiene style" breakfast a few days ago. I think it works out very well.
At first, I don't want to eat something sweet, meat, and beef so much after that. And I used to have gas on the stomach before, but I don't now.
I'm looking forward to seeing how it will be after a while.
I'm going to make cinnamon roll by new oven tomorrow. I first knew "cinnamon roll" in a Japanese movie, named "Kamome Shokudo". The heroine and her friend made cinnamon roll in the movie. It seemed very delicious.
I found some recipes in the Internet. I wish I can make delicious cinnamon roll!
I will try to make bread with flour made in Japan tomorrow morning. I heard that bread made with Japanese flour is really delicious. Most flour sold in grocery stores in Japan are imported. But Japanese flour is very expensive. Ordinaly flour is about 300 yen, but Japanese one is over 500 yen....
I'll make bread with my original yeast. I'm looking forward to eating my bread tomorrow!
I have 5.5 paid holidays now. We can't carry over a half holiday, so I should take a half day off by the end of March.
At first, I was going to take a half day off on one of Tuesdays. Because women have to pay only 1,000 yen for the movies on Tuesdays. But there don't seem to be any interesting movies now in my town.
A half holiday sounds like more special than a holiday. I want to use well it, so I have to choose the day carefully.
One of my favorite blogs is "3Step cooking". I wanted to make something sweet last weekend, so I looked at the blog and found a recipe of crumpets.
They are English traditional sweets, but I didn't know them. They seemed very yummy. And I thought it was very good for me that the recipe didn't need an oven. We can make them in a frying pan. So I tried to make them according to the recipe.
It was really easy to make them. Of course they were really delicious! I should have taken some photos of them. I think flour is really great because we can make many kind of things using it.
