I had a flat tire of my bicycle. I was going to ask a repair shop to fix it, but usually it takes about 1,000 yen. So I tried to fix it by myself. The tube inside the tire seemed too old, so I thought it should be replaced.
It was really tough work to release the tire from the frame because of the rust. But I managed to do that.

I started carrying a lunch box with me last week since I spent a lot of money these days. I make most of side dishes for my lunch on weekend and freeze them. So I have to eat the same thing for every lunch.

I finally finished reading "Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban" yesterday. It took over 2 monthes to read it, but the book is really interesting.
I borrowed the 4th book, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" today. I am very surprised how thick the book is. I can't anticipate when I finish it. But I'd like to read it everyday as much as I can.

Our office is closed from August 13th to 16th. It is Obon period. I don't have any special plan for this holiday. Yesterday, I went to a big bookstore with my niece. The book store is too far from my house to get there by bicycle, so I asked my niece to go with me by her car.
The bookstore also sold stationery, so I bought two refills for my notebook, and a double-faced tape. I'd like to arrange my notebook for my autumn trip to UK.

I found a sausage recipe using "Okara" (bean curd refuse) instead of meat on the Internet. I tried cooking it. It was too delicious to find that it didn't contain meat at all. I think the taste of garlic and ketchup is really effective for it. Honestly there are some vegetarian recipes which aren't so delicious. But I highly recommend this!
Here is the website;
vege dining 野菜のご飯～おからソーセージ～

I have never been walking lately. I usually take a passometer with me. It can connect to my PC and record how much I walked. The record says I walked for a long time just once last month.
Last month, I tried to listen to English materials 3 hours a day, so I neglected walking. I have to go walking more this month!

I'm trying to avoid caffeine lately.I heard that caffeine might cause a headache. I often have a bad one.
I used to have a cup of tea every morning. But I quit it. Instead of that, I have a cup of herb tea. I also used to have a few cups of coffee during my work, but I quit it, too.
I don't know that works well for me. But I couldn't sleep at all after I had a cup of tea outside. Before avoiding caffeine, taking caffeine didn't affect my sleep. I'm really surprised how caffeine works for us.

I'm giving myself up to avocados lately. The supermarket near my house usually sells them for 138 yen. But they sells them for only 88 yen once a week. I try to buy them then.
My favorite is Avocado don (Rice with avocado). It is very delicious, even though it is cooked by just putting avocado on the top of rice.
