I'm going to make cinnamon roll by new oven tomorrow. I first knew "cinnamon roll" in a Japanese movie, named "Kamome Shokudo". The heroine and her friend made cinnamon roll in the movie. It seemed very delicious.
I found some recipes in the Internet. I wish I can make delicious cinnamon roll!
I will try to make bread with flour made in Japan tomorrow morning. I heard that bread made with Japanese flour is really delicious. Most flour sold in grocery stores in Japan are imported. But Japanese flour is very expensive. Ordinaly flour is about 300 yen, but Japanese one is over 500 yen....
I'll make bread with my original yeast. I'm looking forward to eating my bread tomorrow!
I tried to make scones with my original yeast. I consulted some recipes on the Internet.
But the dough was too soft, since I made it out of consideration of my original yeast's moisture. I put more flour in the dough, but it was still too soft.
I gave up and baked it. It looked more like a Chuka Man (Chinese steamed bun) than a scone! But its taste wasn't so bad.
After my last post, my bread maker arrived safely.
I'm really getting into making bread now. I usually make a loaf of bread for our breakfast once three days. And I often try to make a new type of bread on weekend.
I made a loaf of bread which contained sweet potato paste. I wanted to make the bread like a layer cake, but I failed. I used honey instead of sugar, so the dough became so soft that I couldn't treat it very well. But it was really delicious.
I made three bagles today. The manufacturer of my bread maker doesn't recommend make less bread than a loaf. But I tried to make a quarter loaf. I succeeded! I put out the dough, and mixed chocolate into it.
We have no oven, so I used our toaster oven to bake it. It is said that toaster ovens give much heat to homemade bread, so I covered my bagles with foil.
I was going to give my mother one of the bagles. But she went out when the bagles finished, I had all bagles! Of course they were delicious.
